A cold, rainy Wednesday night in Stoke. Must I say more? Oh, I must? Well, Stoke is the perfect example of a team that we should beat, but often fail to do so. Especially on a cold, rainy, blah blah blah. You get it. Unlike last year, where this side made up for bottom half slip-ups by beating up on the Top 6, this year it seems like we’ll need to win as many of these matches as possible to keep up with a competitive 5-way race for places 2-6. A win will take Liverpool two points clear of Tottenham in 5th, and possibly as high as 3rd, depending on (some very fortunate) results.
