Watch: Actor Nick Blood Talks Liverpool vs Manchester United

The Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. actor unpacks Liverpool’s performance and gets a dig in at United

Liverpool boasts an impressive roster of celebrity fans. From Samuel L. Jackson to Daniel Craig to Clive Owen, some of the biggest actors in the world consider Anfield a second home.

An apparently unknown addition to the roster: English actor Nick Blood. Born in Aylesbury and most famous for playing Lance Hunter in the American television series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Blood is apparently a serious Liverpool fan.

Redmen TV, a popular YouTube channel for Liverpool fans, caught up with Blood outside of Anfield following the Reds’ 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

In the short video interview, Blood conceded that while the result itself isn’t too surprising, he’s definitely frustrated that Liverpool couldn’t make good on any of their chances. He also admitted to some lingering doubts over Daniel Sturridge and that Phillipe Coutinho being forced to drop deep into midfield throughout the game wasn’t a good sign.

He also got in a quick dig at the opposition, saying that United fans might as well go support Stoke City. (Which... I mean, he’s not wrong.)

It’s a quick but fun video. Give it a spin if you’ve got a couple minutes.
