As transfer deadline day looms, many deals are expected to happen for out of favour players at some of Europe's biggest clubs. Luis Alberto is on his way to Lazio, but there are a number of players that Liverpool wish to move on. One of those, Andre Wisdom, has found another temporary home.
Red Bull Salzburg have secured the 23-year-old for the season, which will be his fourth consecutive season on loan. Brendan Rodgers, Wisdom's former manager at Liverpool, was heavily linked with taking the player to Celtic to bolster the Scottish champions' options at right back.
West Bromwich Albion right back Cristian Gamboa has undergone a medical and is set to join Celtic, effectively ending any chance of Wisdom linking up with Rodgers. Wisdom provides an option at centre back and right back, which should help him find minutes under head coach Óscar García Junyent.
Wisdom can broaden his playing experience abroad and look forward to a season of Europa League football. There is no information about whether there is an option to buy as yet, but Wisdom won't be part of Liverpool's squad this campaign.
