Reports have surfaced that Liverpool are locked in a battle with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa to sign the 21-year-old winger Anwar El Ghazi from Ajax this summer. Klopp and the transfer committee are likely to have feelers out for any skillful wingers who may be available.
El Ghazi performed well for the Dutch giants last season, notching an impressive 20 goals over 58 appearances with the team. It is unlikely that a talented prospect likely to receive plenty of attention around Europe would be interested in joining a newly-relegated Aston Villa in the Championship next season.
Crystal Palace is more likely competition, with Alan Pardew's team looking to expand their options in the midfield. El Ghazi, who has made several appearances for the Dutch National Team, would make a strong addition to Palace's front three.
In the case of Liverpool, however, El Ghazi would likely be seen as added depth for Klopp's side, but it's hard to see this particular rumour going anywhere.
