Emre Can, who is still facing one more game out in the Premier League due to his two game domestic ban, gave an exclusive Skype interview with a few lucky Reds fans.

As the season winds down, it has become clear that Liverpool, who sit in eighth place on the table, albeit with games in hand on many of the teams above them, will be unable to break into the top four this season. Because of this, much of the focus has been transferred to their strong showing in the Europa League. On Thursday, the team takes their slim away goal advantage back to Anfield to battle against Dortmund for a place in the semi-final.

When Can was questioned about where the team's energy is focused, he made it clear that they were determined to make their last Premier League games count and end the season on a high note.

"I think it’s both," he responded. "Of course to win the game on Thursday, and in the Premier League we want to win every game. Our target is to win the games and we will see what happens. You never know."

Speaking about Thursday's upcoming game, Can was positive: "We want to win the game on Thursday, it’s our target. I think the result in Dortmund was a good result for us and we had good chances. 1-1 is still a very good result against Dortmund because it is very difficult to play there, but on Thursday we play here at Anfield and the fans with the atmosphere. Hopefully we will win that game."

Liverpool either need to win the game or force Dortmund into a scoreless draw -- no small feat against such a strong offensive side -- to advance to the semi-finals.
