Three points would be huge for either team this afternoon. For Liverpool, it would help get their title ambitions back on track, and further solidify their Champions League credentials. For West Ham any points at all would get their heads back above water in the relegation scrap at the bottom end of the table. Despite getting the best of Liverpool last season, West Ham will come to Anfield hoping to be only the second side to get a result this season. The Reds’ chances will be bolstered by the likely returns of Adam Lallana and Joël Matip to the starting XI.
