Given my decreased involvement over the past few months, this seems mostly like a formality, but the editorial staff and I thought it would make sense for me to do a brief post letting folks know that I'll no longer be involved in the blog in any capacity other than community member. I've had the good fortune to be part of the blog for much longer than I originally anticipated, and during a time that saw it grow far more than I could have expected. It's been a wonderful experience, thanks in large part to the other writers and community members, but one that I can't commit as much time to given the equally wonderful experiences I've been lucky to have in life away from the blog.
I was hesitant to make this much of a thing, but I would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who's been around during the last six years. You've helped made my experience as a Liverpool supporter a very enriching one, and I'm excited to continue talking about the club and my increasingly unhealthy obsession with Jordan Henderson's facial hair with you in the future.
The current staff have committed a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make sure that the transition is as smooth as possible, and as a result there won't be any dropoff--and very likely a significant increase--in the quality of the way things are run. As you noticed this weekend, it's already off to an excellent start.
If you'd like to keep in touch and are on Twitter, you can find me at @EE_LFC. And as I mentioned, I'll be around plenty here as well, though probably not too much in the immediate future to leave space for everyone else to get settled.
Thanks again, and see you soon.
