I found it surprisingly uplifting and it gave me a little bit of hope. I reminded me that above all the hoop-lah that surrounds the fate of this club--the peaks of last season, the panic and pressure of this one-- one fact stands above the rest: trajectory. Now I know we could discuss forever the quality of our recent transfer windows and the tactical successes/failures of Rodgers and whether he is the right man for the job, but this outlook feels a little more balanced, a little more real. Now I'm not saying that I completely agree that where we are is exactly where we could have been this season, but I will say it made me feel a little better about our current position and where we are poised to strike next.
