Part-time footballer and full-time magical unicorn Philippe Coutinho is working his way back from a short injury stint, and from the sound of it, he missed us as much as we missed him. Maybe more.
"I'm training and I'm available for selection," the Brazilian international told the official club website, "It's the best thing, because to be out injured is very difficult - it's awful. Of course, we love playing football and when we're available for selection, it's the best thing. I'm feeling good and I hope I can help the team out in the best possible way."
Yes, having Phil back available for selection is the best thing, right up there with adorable photos of pugs.
Coutinho also shared his thoughts on the most recent match and the oddly controversial post-match thank you to the fans.
"We didn't give up at any time. It was a very difficult game against a team that sat back and the atmosphere inside the ground was amazing, the supporters were urging us on, so the goal was very important and we were satisfied given the way things were going.
"The fans are there supporting us and that's really important, as I've said before. We hope it'll be like it was in the last game until the end of the season, everyone united, so we can achieve positive results in the league."
Phil's his comments echo those made from Divock Origi and Jordan Henderson. Other supporters from around the league might be openly mocking Jürgen Klopp's "celebration," but the players seem to genuinely appreciate efforts Klopp has made to awaken the Anfield faithful.
