Liverpool pushed hard for all three points and, following a second-half breakthrough by Jordon Ibe, they head home from Russia with that. Thanks to strong performances from the likes of Ibe and Roberto Firmino, there was only ever one side in the contest—though Kazan did their best to hold the visitors off the score sheet for as long as possible.
