Jürgen Klopp took great pleasure from Liverpool's 1-0 win over Swansea City, noting in his press conference that winning a tough match in difficult windy conditions with an opponent sitting deep showed great fight.
"It was really difficult for both the teams," Klopp said. "It was a good result, a perfect result in a normal football game under difficult circumstances."
"Swansea defended very well. They had some problems when we saw them in their last few games, playing with not as compact of a formation as today. They did very well."
Klopp made sure to single out Jordon Ibe's positive performance, which he saw as a major sign of development for the youngster.
"I have to say what Jordon Ibe did today in the tactical part of the game in terms of defense was great," he said. "Big step for him, big step for us."
At the end of the press conference, Klopp was asked about the importance of the return of Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge, who both came on in the second half.
"[The return of Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge] gives us much more options," he said "They're two very important players for us."
