An evening of uneven performances capped by a ridiculous, never-ending finish could make rankings difficult. Sterling's flawless night was undone in stoppage time of extra time. Toure recovered from a shaky first only to concede the equalizing penalty. Enrique started strong and ended a liability. At least they had their ups, though—it was almost all downs for Lambert, Markovic, and Balotelli.
