Squad vs Squad-comparing the "Big 6"

A side-by-side look at the squads of the "Sky 6". comparing zone for zone. I make the cut off at Everton, for the purpose of this as while they have a strong 1st team, they have a significantly weaker squad, and could be assumed to come off the worst in such a comparision. I will skip any preamble and just give the players and the "results." Feel free to disagree or do a comparision of your own-input welcomed. Subject to further change of course.

Overall impression

Chelsea are most peoples favourites for the title, but other than width, Man City have the visibly more solid squad and better 1st team spine. Arsenal clearly have the 3rd best squad in terms of overall talent, but have a lack of depth in defensive positions. Man United have impressive attacking talent, but are now visibly inferior to the top 3, and are barren in the back and middle, where the squad is in severe decay. Liverpool and Tottenham are clearly weaker than the top 3, but have deep, balanced and young squads. I put Liverpool just ahead of Spurs due mainly to better defensive depth. The current lack of backup to Sturridge is a weakness however, and is why I still wouldn't put Liverpool ahead of a deteriorating Man United.
