What's especially interesting to me about this table is what it means for the narrative that we give up something on defense with the all-out attack philosophy. As you can see, there was a .03 difference in goals allowed per 90 minutes. Put another way, shifting tactics costs us 1 goal allowed every 33(!) games but gave us 1 goal for per game(!!). I'd argue, based on this, that the team was unbalanced before Rodgers made some bold moves (e.g. Gerrard as a DM) because our offense was being held back.
