Champions League Open Thread: Jose Thinks You're Old Edition

Following Tuesday's amusing Champions League action, Wednesday sees rather lower chances of schadenfreude though an improved chance you'll get to watch some decent football.

After Manchester United's failure had the evening all to itself yesterday, it's back to a pair of Champions League kickoffs at 7:45PM GMT/2:45PM EST today. For many, the headliner will be Schalke hosting Real Madrid in a match the home side likely needs a result from to keep things interesting in the return leg. Schalke currently sit fourth, only a point back of Dortmund and two back of Bayer Leverkusen, while Madrid are on form and in the thick of the title hunt in Spain as always. Fans of English football also have some action today as Chelsea travel to face Galatasaray, a draw that sees the London club heavily favoured.

Come and join us in keeping an eye on the day's going ons. As always, LiveSoccerTV has listings of live television offerings around the globe, and SBNation has put together a big, shiny preview for the Round of 16 that's worth your time. As a reminder, past open threads can be found easily in the sections drop down menu at the top of every page on the site.
