• Liverpool could have done more to support me through that Evra incident.

Did Fabio Borini Do Enough to Earn a Chance Against Newcastle?

I was delighted for Balotelli and Lovren yesterday.

I don’t think it was coincidence that Lovren looked a lot more secure with a real defensive midfielder in front of him and that Balotelli scored with a strike partner alongside him.

I would love to see Borini and Lucas get a start in the diamond formation. Unfortunately though I would not be surprised to see the 4-3-3 and a midfield which remains broken.

Lucas has suffered from injuries but I would really like to see him with Hendo and Allen or Lallana in front of him and Coutinho in the hole in the diamond system. Borini and Balotelli also looks to me to be the combination going forward at least until Sturridge is fit.
