Peru v. Uruguay
Kickoff: 10:30PM EST (Friday)/3:30AM BST (Saturday)
Ever since they won the Copa America in 2011, Uruguay have struggled for form, failing to impress in World Cup qualification and struggling at the Olympics last summer. Now they sit fifth in CONMEBOL, good enough to qualify for the play-off against Asia's fifth best side on goal differential but level on points with Venezuela and only two ahead of tonight's opponent. The fourth place side, Chile, is five points ahead of them.
With two matches remaining in his ban in England, from a Liverpool point of view tonight is also key for the striker's fitness. For Suarez, though, all that will matter is doing his part as Uruguay attempt to finally, after nearly two years of struggling, rediscover the form that had them ranked amongst the best in the world a few short years ago. If they don't, their World Cup dreams could be over well before the tournament kicks off next summer.
