Luis Suarez Joins Full Squad Training Again

After his public exile from first-team training, Luis Suarez has apparently re-joined the Liverpool squad in full training, signaling his return to good graces with manager Brendan Rodgers.

International duty hasn't been good for Luis Suarez--Liverpool relations. The transfer drama surrounding the Uruguayan striker kicked off in full when he was with the national team for the Confederations Cup back in June, and the most recent farce--telling Martin Charquero he was going to stay, then not telling him that, also other things maybe--occurred when the striker headed to Japan with his compatriots for a friendly. No more international duty for anyone, then.

I suppose what's important now, though, is that with Suarez back from Japan, those crisis talks between Suarez and Brendan Rodgers have taken place, and the resolution appears to be a positive one. His exile to solo training is over, with the striker photographed this morning in wonderful spirits along with the rest of the senior squad. He was even smiling, you guys.

Anyhow, James Pearce from The Liverpool Echo has the gloriously vague details:

Luis Suarez has been reinstated in Liverpool's squad following positive talks with manager Brendan Rodgers. The Uruguayan trained with his team-mates at Melwood today after his return from a midweek friendly in Japan. It's the first time he has worked with the squad since he was banished to train on his own following his public attack on the club last week.

That leaves us to assume that the words of Rodgers, Ian Ayre, and John Henry will hold firm, and Suarez will indeed be a Liverpool player come the end of the transfer window. Maybe that's a leap based on one smiling picture or two, but the club has held firm on their word to to this point, and this is likely a signal that Rodgers and company now feel settled with the striker's state of mind and the impact his presence will have on the squad ahead of the start to the Premier League Season.
