We're bringing back a feature we ran once nearly two years ago and then promptly never returned to, until now! This site has grown significantly over the past year and the contributions of our readership are a huge part of that growth. As part of a way to close out the weekend and/or ease into the joy of Mondays (depending on your time zone) we're going to highlight a dozen or so comments each week that made us laugh, cry, despair, think, or click that rec button until they ended up green.

As in the previous installation of this feature, we're sticking mostly to choice shorter quotes, although that is by no means a reflection on the quality and lengthy tomes that sometimes grace our comments section.

Luis Suarez Dentist: I think that any new player Liverpool have should be made to go through a days training with John Barnes.

Not only was he (in my opinion) our greatest player, he is the perfect ambassador, speaks fantastic and I really don’t think it’s going to far to say a genuine hero. A large part due to his brilliance as a footballer (If Bale is worth £100 million, a John Barnes today would be worth a Billion), but also because of the adversity, discrimination and hate that he fought against.
