Saturday Open Thread: Quick Turnaround Edition

Twelve Premier League teams undertake the difficult task of playing two matches in three days, while a handful of smaller leagues get in on the action as well.

Steve Bardens

The winter slate is punishing for everyone, but the twelve Premier League teams that are playing today--along with the sides in the lower leagues and Scotland that also played on Boxing Day--will be more than a little leggy as they take part today as well. There aren't any matchups that jump off the page, though Manchester United's travels to Carrow Road present their second tricky away tie in three days. Their comeback at Hull kept their resurgence alive, and a win today would set them up nicely heading into the new year. Also relevant is the West...West derby at Upton Park, where Andy Carroll might be back among the lads for Sam Allardyce and company.

Check out ESPNFC's live scores page or LiveSoccerTV, which has a schedule along with live and repeat viewings on offer through legal providers, and NBCSN/Live Extra will have the Premier League matches stateside. Check your local listings and the LiveSoccer schedule page to catch up, and feel free to talk about any and all of it below. Reminder that links to illegal streaming sites will be removed immediately and repeat offenders will be banned.
