Saturday Open Thread: The End is Nigh Edition

We're into the heart of winter, and while Liverpool kick off their crucial December stretch tomorrow at White Hart Lane, there's a handful of other important fixtures to watch today, starting with the early one between Manchester City and Arsenal.

Waiting is no fun, especially when it's for a match that gets the ball rolling on such an important stretch for Liverpool. But wait we will, so in the meantime we might as well pay attention to other stuff, some of which will have a direct impact on Liverpool, especially at the Eastlands. Manchester City host Arsenal in the early kickoff; the current leaders visit the side most tipped to win the title, and if City's home form continues, the gap at the top could get even narrower by the afternoon. Chelsea and Everton both have home dates elsewhere in the Premier League, while three of Germany's top four are in action in the Bundesliga.

Check out ESPNFC's live scores page or LiveSoccerTV, which has a schedule along with live and repeat viewings on offer through legal providers, and NBCSN/Live Extra will have the Premier League matches stateside. Check your local listings and the LiveSoccer schedule page to catch up, and feel free to talk about any and all of it below. Reminder that links to illegal streaming sites will be removed immediately and repeat offenders will be banned.
