Yesterday's fully in the rear-view mirror, and even with Chelsea beating West Ham 3-0 at Upton Park, Liverpool are guaranteed to finish the weekend in second place by virtue of goals scored. That whole goals conceded thing needs changing though--away from Anfield, Liverpool have allowed twice as many goals as the rest of the top four. That's not a particularly good thing.
But we can worry about that next weekend when they travel to the KC Stadium, as we turn our attention to wishing disappointment on everyone else for a day. Manchester City host Spurs in the early kickoff at the Etihad, while Manchester United travel to Cardiff later on to finish off the Premier League action for the weekend before West Brom and Aston Villa meet on Monday. Reduced slates in La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga are on offer as well.
