Following on the heels of yesterday's release of Liverpool's Europa League squad, the club has today registered a finalised squad list for the coming Premier League season. With only 20 of a possible 25 slots filled—and with four of the club's 20 registered players goalkeepers—it should leave plenty of room for the kids to make an impact. And with only 16 registered outfield players more than a few of them may have to before it's all said and done.
There are no real surprises on the list, with every available senior player Liverpool has on hand registered and ten qualifying as homegrown—well over the required eight that need to be included in order to register a full 25-man squad. Meanwhile, the likes of Jonjo Shelvey, Raheem Sterling, Adam Morgan, and even out of favour Dani Pacheco all remain available to Brendan Rodgers in the league despite being unregistered, as do any other youth players 21 years of age or younger who don't turn 22 before January 1st, 2013.
