Though there is no match taking place, Wednesday could end up being one of the most significant days in the recent history of Liverpool Football Club as the Hillsborough Independent Panel prepares to release the findings of their investigation into the causes of and reactions to 1989's disaster. Fittingly given the importance of the report to the club's supporters and to the many others whose lives were impacted by the tragedy, LFCtv will devote the entire day to coverage of the panel's report beginning at 10AM BST/5AM EST.
Moreover, for those who aren't online subscribers to LFCtv and who don't have the means of watching it on television, that coverage will be available free online to everybody. The Hillsborough Independent Panel is expected to report on their findings two hours after LFCtv begin their coverage with a press conference from Liverpool Catherdral at midday in the UK. This will be followed by a ministerial statement from Westminster, as well as a number of events held by the club and around Liverpool commemorating the events of 23 years ago in support of the families and survivors of Hillsborough.
