So that's a relatively strong starting eleven, and a complete condemnation of my ability to predict a starting eleven. From front to back it's a squad littered with youth and regular first-team talent, and one that you'd expect to be successful. It's eight changes in total from the weekend; Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles come into the fold after their match-winning performances against Arsenal, Maxi and Martin Skrtel make their season debuts, and Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson retain their places. Nice to see the names on the bench as well, clearly an indication that a repeat of last year is to be avoided at all costs.
