Video: The Liverpool Groove

So, pass and move football, it's been a while since we've seen you. Thirty-one passes and a goal if you count Kuyt's final, lucky, bobble to Torres as a pass. Thirty passes and a final lucky bobble for a goal if you don't. And sure, it was against a largely beaten opponent, but with a little more confidence--the sort of confidence built through passing moves like this against any opponent at any time--this is the sort of possession play Liverpool can hope to use to break down even the most confident teams right from the start.

So maybe there's a bit of football on elsewhere today for people to watch, but I don't care. I'm just going to keep hitting replay on this clip and pretend everything is alright again with Liverpool, if only for a little while.
