These are some of the things I'm thankful for on this match-day morning:
I'm thankful for giving away a promising young left back on low wages.
I'm thankful for Kuyt not being first on the team-sheet now that we've got Poulsen.
And I'm thankful that we'll be using a defensive set-up that might actually work against a team like Blackpool. As long as they haven't seen any footage from our previous matches.
But more seriously, I really am thankful for all the supporters who will be joining in the pre-match march and post-match sit in this week. In a year of lows, at least there are still reminders of what's best about this club and its supporters.
