The Telegraph has revealed that an elderly Liverpool fan's likely cause of death stemmed from celebrating a sensational Steven Gerrard goal in the Champions League against Marseille. According to the report, when the Liverpool captain scored unexpectedly, Jim Carver, 77, leaped out of his chair with joy. Apparently, at some point he bumped his head and was later taken to the hospital. Upon his release, he had another fall and worsened the condition.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is how I go out one day except my injuries will probably come from power sliding through a retirement home. You'll never walk alone, Mr. Carver.
