* Ukrainian striker Andriy Voronin officially joined the club today and quickly made himself heard. The adept finisher said he was 'in awe' of Anfield and also that he had joined LFC to be a starter and not come off the bench. Uh, this guy is aware that we just signed Fernando Torres and have that guy Kuyt too, doesn't he? I don't see him starting over either of those two, but hopefully, he'll make Crouch expendable by January and we can use that money to strengthen our back line. We could also do a three-forward set, but that's unlikely. Also, he better watch his mouth and attitude or he'll find himself on the outside looking in.
* Well, despite West Ham making a last second bid, it looks like Cisse to Marseille is all but done. I'm glad he's not going to another Premiership side and I hope we don't run into l'OM in the CL.
* For some reason Sunderland is tied to Sammi Hyypia. I would think if we were going to sell Hyypia, he would have been gone by now, and plus it won't happen unless we sign a centre back and a right back. I honestly don't see it happening at all.
* Finally, Harry Kewell apparently will not be starting for Australia in at least their opening match against Oman in the Asian Cup. What's a brother got to do to get a spot on the Socceroos? He was clearly one of, if not the, best player against Singapore, scoring a goal and setting up another. I know, I know, I'm being a hypocrite, but if your gonna call up King Harry, you better freakin' use him. Plus I plan on waking up early tomorrow morning to watch the match.
