Anfield Banter: Benayoun would be a welcome addition, Big Sam can't take no for an answer, Nemeth and Simon have arrived, & Lucas, Insua to play in U20 World Cup

* Is Benayoun coming or not? I doubt we'll offer more than the £4.5m we already have, maybe 5, but that's it. He wants to come and as Benitez said, we only want players who want to play for us. I think he's a great signing, especially at that price. He can fill any of the midfield roles, sort of like a Bolo Zenden, except he's a smarter player. Maybe not as athletic, but definitely more intelligent and creative. And if we don't sign a left winger and keep Hammill on the squad, then we'll be three deep at that position.

* Dear Big Sam, Sammi Hyypia is not for sale. Barring some unforeseen signings, we'll going to need our former captain for at least another season and I hope he at least retires from the EPL as a Red. He is a legend and though I doubted him earlier last season he came back to prove me wrong. I've never been so happy to be wrong in my life.

* Our two Hungarian hopefuls arrived at Anfield yesterday for what is hopefully the beginning of a long and successful tenure. Krisitian Nemeth and Andras Simon are two of just many youngsters that we are counting on to continue the Liverpool legacy.

* Speaking of youngsters, I can't wait to get a good look at Lucas in the U20 World Cup which starts this weekend in Canada. No word yet, but he usually captains his country's side. Also participating in the tournament is Emiliano Insua, who will vie for Lucas' country's arch nemesis, Argentina. If both of their sides win their group stage, they could meet in the final, but if not, there's a good chance they'll see each other in the first round of the knockout stage.
