* The Fernando Torres transfer saga has apparently taken a couple of twists. First, it appears that Man U is trying to scrounge up the money to challenge LFC for Torres by selling off some players starting with transfer of Alan Smith to Portsmouth. I don't know how much truth there is to this story, but when is enough debt enough for the Mancs? You have to wonder if there debt at some time is going to start to affect their valuation. Furthermore, Atletico now say they want Peter Crouch in the deal for Torres, but we are apparently only offering either Cisse or Luis Garcia. Now Atletico is saying no formal bid has been made by any club. Awesome.
* Harry Kewell can't wait to get back in action next season. So he's staying? Come to think about it, the rumors of he and Bellamy being sold have quieted a bit recently. Probably means they will be sold tomorrow. Harry needs to slow down a bit though, let's just see if he stays healthy this summer.
* After saving Macclesfield town from relegation, former Liverpool captain Paul Ince has moved on to manage League two side MK Dons. Milton Keynes finished fourth last season. I wonder if the 40-year-old Guv'nor is going to suit up for the Dons?
