I've drank enough to kill a baby elephant so I'll keep this short and sweet. We were the better team today and deserved to win. Pepe is God. The new God that is. I don't want to hear any talk of him being a bad goalie. He was simply amazing today.
It would have been better had Fowler scored the decisive penalty, but I'm glad Kuyt did as well. He's such a hard worker and is truly a great team player.
I'm not sure who deserves man of the match. Mascherano was HUGE for us, so I guess I would pick him, but overall all our players had solid outings.
