* Sort of a slow day on the LFC news front, thank goodness there's actual matches to watch. There's a bunch of feel good stories about Mascherano. I didn't know he's only on loan here for a couple of years, I thought we bought him. Hopefully, we'll work something out so he can stay longer, like say, the rest of his career.
* Rafa reiterates his plans to keep Crouch. Well, someone's got to go, and I'm guessing it'll be Bellamy. He and Kuyt are very similar players and though I don't want to see Bellamy sold, if I had to keep him or Kuyt, Dirk would be the one to stay. Only because he's younger.
* Vladimir Smicer is one of my all-time favorites. It's too bad injury limited his games to 183 in 6 seasons. Here's his video segment from the 100 players who shook the Kop. He was #64.
* Finally, two teams in the Championship today came back from a goal down to win in the final ten minutes of their matches. In fact, Southend scored two goals in the final three minutes to defeat Preston North End. Queens Park Rangers was the other team to make the comeback against Luton Town. Can't wait to hear what our Championship blogger has to say about 'em. Ciao.
