* The B team with the help of non-internationalers Jermaine Pennant and Robbie Fowler easily defeated Blackburn's Reserves at Wrexham, 4-1. Both aforementioned first teamers apparently scored outstanding goals with Zenden and Lindfield (on a Fowler assist) scoring the others.
* Gerrard cares, man! I tell ya he cares! He cares about his club and he cares about his country and he also thinks Rooney could beat the world by himself! There's not a finer lad in the world than our Stevie!
* I can't wait until Saturday. First I get to watch Finnan vs. Bellamy, and then I get to watch the end of McClaren's coaching reign at England (one can only hope).
* A quick international round-up: Stevie G and Carra will be playing for England, Crouch probably would be too, but he's opted to have nose surgery. Dirk Kuyt will, in all likely hood start for the Dutch. Steve Finnan and Craig Bellamy will be on the Ireland and Wales squads respectively. Xabi Alonso and Jose Reina will more than likely sit the bench for Spain against Denmark, who will be featuring Daniel Agger. John Arne Riise will suit up for Norway and Sami Hyypia will be on the Finnish team. And I believe Mark Gonzales will be on Chile's squad when they face Brazil in a friendly on Saturday, not sure though. Oh, and future striker Voronin will be playing for the Ukraine. Cheers! I'm going to bed.
