Oh, Moyes!

Merseyside Derby

My how times have changed, don't you think Mr. Moyes? I hate the cliché "out for blood" but I'm off to trite expressions anyway (look at the first sentence of this post). Liverpool owes it to themselves to absolutely thrash, crack, clatter and hammer Everton on Saturday morning.

Everyone's feeling grand about the Chelsea win, taking the full 3 points away to West Ham and the return of Momo Sissoko this weekend. Everton is lacking Andy Johnson, out with injury. Plus, anyone worth their numerous Liverpool replica shirts still remembers that horrible, sunny day in fall when the Toffees ran rampant at Goodison. I just don't see any way Liverpool lose or draw this match. I just can't spot it.

Everything is there: motivation, health, rest, form. There's even encouraging news about the takeover, with some American billions set to roll in, probably, after some papers are signed in the next couple weeks.

Liverpool has no choice but to keep the good vibes going from the Chelsea match. It's time for these guys to prove they're serious, as Barcelona is now less than two weeks away.
