It's been a few days now since my return from the Rez and I almost turned myself around and headed back out the door when the ETW storm hit us from every direction. I've always been told to keep my head up and never lose faith and so I remained. The comfort of my family home helped greatly in that decision too though.
One of my Hunka (adopted) brothers traveled many states to be at the Rez because Life was asking a lot of him and he needed some spiritual/Ceremonial help as well the company of a brother, laughter and a humble community. It was good to see him and even better to 'see' his spirit, body and mind lifted back to a place of balance. A place where strength is returned to be able to face any tests life decides to bring.
I have done my best to walk with such positiveness and balance throughout my journey so far and I must admit it gets easier with age.....years and experience may have left some scars but they are teachers and it's up to us to learn from them.
When I look at the situation we are facing as Liverpool supporters I can fully understand the various issues of frustration and sometimes even the odd disagreement between people who would normally agree on everything. Tests affect us all different and also show the different ways each person may see a problem and the answer which seems to be the right road to take.
I think everyone knows by now where I have looked to for an answer to the DM situation. I do not claim it's the best answer but not too much else seems to be working imo.....and that is only my opinion and not necessarily the best.
The one thing we all have to accept is that if nothing else changes in the last few (2 or 3,4 etc) days then what we have is all we have....and that got us to the number one spot, even if for a brief moment.
I think we can agree also that an extra 1 or 2 quality players could have turned the loses at Man City and Chelsea into victories....we almost managed it as is but with nothing of game changing/winning depth on the bench to call upon we couldn't quite do it.
Well..... I hope that maybe something in these few words may inspire some comments or even questions.... but regardless,I am very happy to be back in the midst of this awesome TLO family. So come in and grab a coffee to go or take a seat and stay awhile.
Here's to hoping a fresh face may be showing up at Melwood, that our injured players make swift and strong recoveries and that we take it to Everton at Anfield and get those vital 3 points because these points really matter in the top 4 challenge.
